Initial 2019 Meeting

Learn more about various city projects and events in your neighborhoods, ask questions and provide input. It is also a great opportunity to meet some of your neighbors who have the same interests as you to improve your neighborhood. “NICE” stands for Neighborhood Improvement & Community Engagement. neighborhood walking groups
outdoor movie nights
children’s activities
workshops and more.

This is YOUR Neighborhood Meeting where you can find out what is going on in your area and where you can contribute to improvements and events you would like to see. The NICE program decided to group 3 or 4 neighborhoods together for their meetings that shared some common interests.

We had our Floresta Gardens, Floresta Pointe and Riverview meeting a few weeks ago and were updated on the Crosstown and Floresta Rd improvements. We also all agreed to have our meetings every 3 months.

The City is anticipating that the Crosstown Parkway Bridge and Extension will probably open by the end of September if nothing major interferes, like hurricanes.
