There are 6 graphs that show the dramatic differences between the two periods – mortgage standards are still very tight now, price appreciation is not soaring out of control, there is a shortage of inventory now compared to a surplus before, new construction is not making up the shortfall, home prices aren’t becoming too expensive to buy, and homeowners have substantial equity – they are not tapped out.

Latest Jobs Report: What Does It Mean for You & the Housing Market?
Friday, April 2nd 2021 – the Bureau of Labor Statistics released a very encouraging jobs report. The economy gained 916,000 jobs in March – well above expert projections of 650,000 to 675,000. The unemployment rate fell again and is now at 6%.
