New Conforming Loan Limits for Conventional Loans in 2020
Plus Increases in FHA Limits – New Post
- The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced in November 2019 that the maximum conforming loan limits for mortgages to be acquired by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2020 would be raised again from $484,350 to $510,400, effective January 1, 2020.
- FHA Loan limits also increased to several different levels from $331,760 in Indian River County, to $350,750 in St Lucie and Martin Counties, $373,750 in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade and $552,500 in Monroe County.

Florida Housing Market Update – December 2019 Statistics Are “Eye-Popping”

Single family homes sales increased 24% and almost 18% in condo/ townhomes sales!
Median single family home sales prices rose almost 6% and for condos/ townhomes rose 8.1%. Adequate Inventory is still a problem though with single family homes at 3.4 months of supply and condo/townhomes at 5.2 months. Both types of homes dropped around 10% from December 2018 to December 2019.
