Cleveland Clinic to Take Over Florida Center for Bio-Sciences (formerly VGTI building)
The big news this month for Port St Lucie is the announcement that the City of Port St Lucie will be negotiating a contract with the Cleveland Clinic to establish a Research Institute in the Tradition Center for Innovation for the Florida Center for Bio-Sciences 107,000 sq. ft. world class specialty research building, formerly known as VGTI.
In the middle of May, it was also announced that Florida International University is working on a partnership with the Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies to bring the university’s Translational Molecular Discoveries Emerging Preeminent Program to Port St. Lucie.

Country Club News
Broken Sound Country Club, Boca Raton
I spoke to Membership regarding the timing of the renovation plans and how areas of the club will be closed. Originally they were going to be doing construction starting later this year, but they have now postponed construction until February 2020 with completion anticipated by December 2020.
During that time the main clubhouse will be closed but all other buildings and amenities will be open – golf club and golf course, fitness center and aquatics, tennis courts and spa, salon and three restaurants, plus the Old Course will be open.
