Many of the hospitals provide physician referral services to assist residents in finding family physicians or specialists to meet their needs. The Palm Beach County Medical Society also offers a physician referral service.

Additionally, many government, non-profit and private organizations are available to assist seniors.
Numerous retirement and nursing facilities, along with government sponsored senior citizen centers, provide health care opportunities for mature adults. Individuals requiring skilled nursing care may choose from approximately 45 nursing homes in the county. There are also several Adult Congregate Living Facilities that provide assisted living for seniors who do not require full-time skilled nursing care.
