Jensen Beach Homes and Condos

Jensen Beach is a small town area at the north end of Martin County with river frontage areas on the Indian River Lagoon.  The western boundary fronts along US #1 down to Jensen Beach Blvd and then along the eastern edge of SE Green River Parkway.  Then it has an irregular boundary just north of the St Lucie River to Sewall’s Point.  The town boundary also includes a portion of South Hutchinson Island, from the Jensen Beach NE Causeway Blvd. north about 5 miles.

Hutchinson Island South

Real Estate on Hutchinson Island South on the east side of A1A is primarily oceanfront  condominiums and villas. There are several single family home communities on the Island.  Diamond Sands has homes that are located on the east side of A1A with ocean frontage, but it also includes the west side on the river where docks can be built.

There are single family homes, villas and townhomes, low rise condominiums and mobile home communities on the west side of A1A on the Island fronting on the Indian River.  The estimated population of Hutchinson Island South in 2016 is 5,209.

Jensen Beach Mainland

Technically Jensen Beach mainland is called a census-designated place (CDP) in Martin County, Florida. The Jensen Beach addresses of homes also extend on the barrier island and CDP of Hutchinson Island South (although these are actually in St Lucie County)  from Jensen Beach NE Causeway Blvd. north about 5 miles to the Sand Dollar Shores Condominiums (7400 N. Ocean Blvd.) and just south of the St Lucie County /FPL Power plant.   When you get north of the FPL plant properties are in Ft. Pierce.  Homes south of the Jensen Beach NE Causeway Blvd. are in city of Stuart and Martin County.    ….  mmm …. a little confusing I know…

The estimated population of Jensen Beach Mainland in  2017 was 11,178.   It is part of the Port St. Lucie, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
